in the field,
2023 saw the launch of our 3-pronged outreach + DEI program at the International Conference on Computational Photography. We also participate in the Chicagoland Diverse STEM Postdoc Initiative and the NU PhD Application Feedback Program.
and in the community.
Through the Women in Tech Council, tutoring support, and a Northwestern Racial Equity and Community Support grant for the YW Tech Lab, we work with YWCA-Evanston/North Shore to promote meaningful educational and economic opportunities for women of color in the tech space. Read more about our work here or check out the video highlight from the YWomen Leadership Celebration. We've also supported K-12 summer programs through CIERA REACH and NAACP STEAM Scholars.
